What does the River Walk Grille on Michigan, a wonderful bride & groom, 275 guests, and a fantastic feast have in common? Pure fun and an exceptional reception. Big City Brides did it again, planning an extravagant, yet relaxing environment with all the right touches.
Wish you were there!

Jill & Paul had their reception at Galleria Marchetti & it could not have looked nicer. Arrangements were made by 'You'll Say I Do' Event Planning, run by Christina Mendoza. She was on the ball, organized, & made my life much easier that night!
All in all, we had alot of fun & guests seemed to enjoy themselves.

What a blast! The Hilton Suites Chicago on Delaware was the sight of a spectacular reception. Although we started rather late (dancing began at 10:30pm), Jenn & Mike had a ton of fun. I took them back down memory lane, with an 'old skool' set, and that had everyone out of their seats. Great Couple + Fun set of Friends = Impeccable Reception.

Mariposa & Peter were married on Lake Michigan at Proventary Point at 53rd & LSD. It was a picture perfect wedding; blue skies, temperature at 77 degrees, & a light breeze to assist made everything perfect!
The ladies of Big City Bride also made the event go very smoothly. The dancefloor was busy all night - people did not want to leave, but the men in blue kicked us out at 11pm (Chicago Park District regulation). All in all, a great time was had by the guests & the Brants had their dream wedding happen :)

Every year for the past 7 years, I have had the pleasure of entertaining the employees of Rosemont Exposition Services. Their main focus is to run any function at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center with ease and precision. This annual end-of-the-year party usually draws anywhere from 600 to 1200 guests. I incorporated my dancers and face painters into the scheme of things this year & it was a blast!

Rob & Megan got married at our family's restaurant in the Botticelli Room; what a night to remember! Rob & I went to Loyola Academy together & played in an Alternative Rock band as well. The highlight of the evening - their 1st dance, hands down. Another friend of his accompanied me by replacing lyrics in Kool & the Gang's 'Joanna' with of course, 'O Megan.' When the refrain came around, I faded the song so that we sang over the track. A very special & original, to say the least.
As far as dancing was concerned, Rob let me basically play whatever I saw the crowd reacted to positively. Much emphasis on 80's tunes, and a bit of progressive tracks made the night a complete success.
Julie & James held their ceremony & reception at Fairway Banquets in Niles. Although it was raining, the ceremony went off without a hitch. Eventually the clouds disappeared & everyone had their mind on having a great time.
In honor of his parents, James decided to hold the 'Pae Beck' ceremony there, in front of all the guests. This is a traditional Korean ceremony, showing respect to his elders, and his wife. It was a great experience for Julie's side of the family.
After dinner, guests were ready to dance & have fun. It's nice when two Cultures come together & have a blast. I sure did : )
Having a destination wedding? I'd be
happy to oblige if I am available. I will showcase photos in a montage
of the events at the wedding in about two weeks on our front page, so be sure to enjoy!
